How Do I Access Tickets in the MLB Ballpark App?

This guide will walk you through accepting your tickets and viewing them in the MLB Ballpark App so you're ready for game day.

Step 1: Check Your Email or Go Straight to the App

After your tickets have been transferred, you'll typically receive an email from one of the following:

Subject lines may look similar to:

  • "You have just been forwarded [Team Name] tickets"
  • "Congratulations, [Your First Name]"

Inside the email, look for the Access Tickets button. Selecting it will guide you through the process of accessing your tickets in the MLB Ballpark App.

Already Using the MLB Ballpark App?

If you've already set up the MLB Ballpark App using the same email address associated with your order, you may not need the email at all.

Simply sign into the app and your tickets may already be available.

Step 2: Download the MLB Ballpark App

If you haven't already installed it, download the MLB Ballpark App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

The MLB Ballpark App is the official method used by most MLB teams to manage and display mobile tickets.

Step 3: Log In or Create Your Account

Open the app and sign in using the same email address associated with your ticket transfer.

You'll typically see two sign-in options:

Send Me an Email to Log In

A one-time login link will be sent to your inbox.

Open the email and tap Log In to access your account.

Log In with Password

If you've previously created an MLB account password, you can sign in directly using your credentials.

New to MLB Ballpark?

Tap Sign Up and follow the prompts to create an account.

Be sure to use the same email address that received the ticket transfer.

Step 4: Verify Your Email Address

Before tickets can appear in the app, you'll need to verify your email address.

Look for an email from MLB with a subject similar to:

"Verify your email address"

Open the email and select Verify Email.

Important: Your tickets may not appear in the MLB Ballpark App until your email address has been verified.

Step 5: Access Your Tickets

Once your email has been verified:

  1. Open the MLB Ballpark App
  2. Tap Tickets at the bottom of the screen
  3. Locate your event

If your tickets don't appear immediately:

  • Wait 5–10 minutes
  • Tap Refresh
  • Check again

Once your tickets are visible, you'll typically have the option to add them to:

  • Apple Wallet
  • Google Wallet

Don't See a Barcode?

That's completely normal.

Many MLB mobile tickets do not display a traditional barcode once they're added to a mobile wallet.

As long as the ticket appears in your MLB Ballpark App or mobile wallet, it remains valid and will scan properly at the stadium.

Helpful Tips

  • Use the same email address that received the transfer
  • Complete email verification before troubleshooting missing tickets
  • If tickets don't appear immediately, refresh the app after a few minutes
  • Mobile tickets are intended to be accessed from the MLB Ballpark App, not from a desktop computer
  • Add tickets to your mobile wallet before arriving at the stadium whenever possible
